James Bond Island Bangkok Street This is my first BLOG ever and I am super excited!! I was thinking about it for quite some time now and finally here I am! I have a feeling I am going to spend a lot of time blogging!! Thailand Trip ( Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket): Total Number of Days: 8 days (2N Pattaya, 2N Bangkok, 3N Phuket) During our India trip in July, we wanted to go on a big family vacation with my parents/MIL and sister’s family. I researched a lot of places and finally decided on Thailand/Singapore trip. Although July is not the best season for Thailand vacation, it’s rainy season. Next came the big question, do we plan on our own or go through a travel agent? We decided to use a travel agent and book a customized itinerary for our family instead of a group tour, this is slightly expensive but worth it. We did the flight bookings on our own. Cancun – Mexico (November 2014 - 5 Days Trip) Mexico was on our LIST for some time now and finally decided to vacation in Cancun in November 2014. It is shoulder season for travelling since it is tail end of rainy season, but wonderful time to go if you want less crowd and beaches to all by yourself!! Being USA Permanent Residents, we don’t need visa for Mexico travel. YAY! one less thing to worry about! All Inclusive or European Plan: Before making any bookings, the first decision to make is, if you want to stay at an All-Inclusive resort where all your food/drinks and room are included in the pre-paid price, or a European Plan Resort where you just book the room and pay as you for the food. Easy decision for us, we wanted hassle free travelling and decided to have the experience of All-Inclusive resort packages, although we don’t eat meat/egg or drink alcohol, we had plenty of food options. Resorts would love guests like us though! It was a wonderful experie
